Amazfit is gearing up to release its new T-Rex “Pro” smartwatch. The company received FCC clearance for its latest smartwatch today.
The existing T-Rex smartwatch from Huami already has 12 military-grade certification and is resistant to harsh environments. This is one of the few smartwatches that can withstand a negative 40 degrees Celsius temp and still function.

Featuring an AMOLED display, high precision GPS, 50 meters water resistance and a long 20 day battery life, the T-Rex has seen a loyal group of followers since its release.
We don’t expect a new form factor for the “Pro” version of the T-Rex line of smartwatches. The Pro watch was tested late last year, so it appears that the model was already in the pipeline but couldn’t be announced in time for the Holidays.
It is unclear from the regulatory filings what new features will be showcased in the “Pro” version of T-Rex.
The new model number for the smartwatch is A2013 and it comes with US Military Standard 810g (MIL-STD-810G) Certification.
Chances are that the Pro version could feature a new low power AI chip with advanced PPG and ECG functionalities.
There’s no word when the new T-Rex pro will be available for sale and Amazfit’s website currently does not show any additional information on the new watch.
We will keep this posted as we find additional information about this rugged smartwatch from Amazfit.
