We are still trying to learn more about the details around these new Apple buds and will keep the post updated as we learn more.

The dimensions of this new Apple Beats studio Buds are similar to Airpods. Specifications show this as 5.05mm by 1.35mm (height).

Given that the Powerbeats pro, released under the same brand had support for “Hey Siri”, we believe the new Studio buds will support hands-free controls.

The new Studio buds will also support the Find My app on your iOS device to locate your the buds with a sound or see them on a map if they are lost or missing. This was another feature on the Powerbeats.

It is likely that the form factor is the only major change. The new Apple Beats Studio buds are likely to house the Apple H1 chip that provides improved connection speed and extended range.
