Tissot launching its new Smartwatch Tissot Touch Connect

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Tissot, a member of Swatch group of companies, obtained FCC approval today for its new Smartwatch Touch Connect.

Not much is known about this new model except that it has a circular display and supports the latest BLE 5.0 for Bluetooth.

The new Touch Connect also has the sapphire crystal, which gives it extremely high resistance to impact.Tissot Touch connect

The new Smartwatch from Tissot comes with a charger, which means that the watch is not Powermatic.

Powermatic is an automatic watch that is powered by the energy of the person who wears it. Wrist movement enables the mechanism to run. The Powermatic 80 movement boasts 80 hours of power reserve. The new Smartwatch, on the other hand, will be powered by a wireless charger accessory that comes with the watch.Tissot wireless charger

We don’t have any details around sports modes et al., but given that the watch’s back does not have any optical sensors, it is clear that this new smartwatch from Tissot will only support notifications and messages when paired with your smartphone.

There does not appear any support for heart rate monitoring or sleep monitoring or other wellness functions.

The new Tissot Connect will probably be marketed as a luxury dress smartwatch without any health or fitness-related features.

We will update the post with more details when the company announces more details.
