Tissot releases a new T-Touch Connect Solar smartwatch

Tissot T-connect watch features

Swatch group’s Tissot brand launched a new watch called the T-Touch Connect Solar.

A Tissot T-Touch Connect watch was spotted on today’s FCC filings made by the company.

It is not clear if the new filing relates to a brand new model or if it is the one that the company has been marketing on its site this week.

The company’s website has been updated with the details around a solar edition of the T-Touch connect.

Marketed as “A Swiss Army Knife for the wrist”, the Tissot T-Touch connect Solar edition has a lot of features!

The Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar includes activity tracking and message and call notification along with a perpetual calendar, countdown, chronograph, alarm, weather, and altimeter functions.

This is essentially the list of features that you would expect from a Swiss-made watch. But what makes it special is its latest-generation photovoltaic cells!

These built-in solar cells eliminate the need for frequent cable-based recharges. Instead, the watch charges in the sun and also a power reserve of 6 months, depending on usage and sun exposure.

The 47 mm T-Touch connect features a sapphire crystal scratch-resistant display and a ceramic bezel which is scratch-resistant as well. The titanium case is completely hypo-allergenic.Tissot T-connect smart features

The T-Touch Connect solar comes in satin-finish titanium, black PVD titanium, and even has a rose-gold PVD titanium. The bracelets are made of rubber or titanium.

The all-terrain look of the watch shows off a sporty feel. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters.

The new watch is compatible with iOS, Android, and Harmony OS and is priced starting at $1050. You can order the Tissot T-Touch Connect from Tissot’s website.

The company is also offering a 27% discount on the T-Touch Expert Solar II Titanium edition on Amazon.

The T-Touch connect is the first of the “Connect” models under the ‘Touch’ category that Tissot has been targeting for younger customers.

The watch may not have all the bells and whistles related to wellness monitoring but it stands out as a finely made contemporary and durable Swiss watch.

  1. No way I will pay over US$ 1000 for a watch that has such basic connected functions. It’s already a pain in the ass to read anything on a full watch dial, imagine in just half of the dial.
It’s a watch that was born to be a flop!
