Fitbit recently won Design awards for its Premium sleep monitoring experience.

The Fitbit premium experience is currently available free to new Fitbit buyers for 90 days, after which they are required to pay $9.99 a month.

Participants also have access to Fitbit Health Coaching, one-on-one coaching, and guidance from a certified health coach or licensed health professional.

Some Veterans who currently receive VA health care may be eligible to receive a Fitbit Sense, Fitbit’s most advanced health smartwatch.

“This initiative is an example of the way VA is successfully adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said VA Secretary Robert Wilkie. “It also ensures the department continues to provide efficient, quality, and timely care.”

Amy Mcdonough, leader of Fitbit Health Solutions, added, “We are proud to work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on a new initiative to support the health and wellness of Veterans, caregivers, and VA staff during the current COVID-19 pandemic.”

This is a huge win for Fitbit Health Solutions as it works through different industry initiatives to showcase its Premium platform.
